The sale was very well attended and the average was slightly up on the 2009 sale.

47 bulls offered, 46 sold to a top of $7000 paid by Trevor and Teresa Hall, Quarterway Angus Stud, Tasmania. The bulls averaged $3850.

All but one of the 24 Stud females sold with the top price of $4500 paid by John Cochrane, Jimboomba Qld.

Buyers came from Qld, Tasmania, N.S.W, King Island and Victoria.

The top commercial pen made $1120 and the unjoined heifers averaged $690.

Volume Buyers:

Tom Groggan Station purchased 4 bulls to a top of $6500 with an average of $5620.
J. W Mitchell and Co and Jalma 4 bulls average $2500.
Pinnacle Angus 5 females average $1500.
